Dancing Cowboys, Grub and Rustling!

Changing up a tried and true event, Cause for Paws 2017 (C4P) went from a daytime silent auction to a night time barn dance with no auction and was a big, bold move. This was an event made for and enjoyed by all ages!

The younger partners had loads of fun in the kids zone rustling horses, slingin' darts and more!

Folks genuinely had a blast listening to the rockin' music and square dancin' and want us to do this again next year! Watch for the 2018 date in the IMHS printed calendar (available for purchase in December of 2017) and on our website and then make your plans to come check out how we'll make it even more fun event!

More importantly IMHS found a new audience and got more folks who've never been involved with our organization. The volunteers and sponsors of this event had a goal of generating goodwill in our community by hosting a fantastic and unique event that people of all ages could attend.

We hope that this event brought forward more awareness about IMHS and our cause to the surrounding communities and that it will increase donations and the number of volunteers in the future. Check out the recap of the event written by Sal Christ at the Canyon Courier here!
