2017 Is Going to be the BEST Yet!

Happy New Year from the whole crew here at Intermountain Humane Society! It has been an exciting year full of new things for IMHS and we want to remind everyone that we could not be where we are today without your help! Thank you to each and every one of our community supporters. Whether you have given donations, come in and volunteered or simply shared our organization with a friend, YOU are the reason we can save lives every day. We are simply amazed at the incredible outpouring of generosity throughout this year and especially this holiday season and have been able to accomplish so much because of that kindness. Through 2016 we have brought 430 cats and 185 dogs into the safety of our care, provided the medical and mental support they needed and found loving forever homes for them. We have successfully adopted out 419 cats and 163 dogs. We have also happily reunited 36 stray animals with their families. It has been a busy and rewarding year for all of us here at Intermountain Humane Society and we intend to keep going strong throughout 2017.

We have a solid team of staff, board members and volunteers filled with excitement and passion for what we do here at the shelter and we are all so ready to take on this New Year along with our amazing community. The Capital Campaign is still underway and we need another $400K so we can get our own property. Please keep giving and sharing the news about this exciting time in IMHS. We are expanding in other ways too and are launching new programs this year.

Keep a close eye on the website for fun upcoming events and be sure to come by the shelter from 11 AM to 4 PM seven days a week to say hello to all the fur-babies still waiting to find their perfect homes!
