Success Story - 2016 Cause For Paws!

Dozens of volunteers worked on the 2016 Cause for Paws and it was bigger and better than ever! We kept some things, like the awesome Kicked to the Curb band and the location of Twin Forks Tavern.

NEW FACES

We did new things including an incredibly popular Wine Pull! We had a lot of new faces at the event which is always encouraging and fun! Two of the new faces were Rachel's Creations Face painting who donated half of her proceeds to IMHS and made us all look great; and PetsMart. PetsMart, Youngsfield location, brought us carts and carts of donated food and goods and then decorated the dogs and some people in attendance!

We also launched 2 campaigns while at the Cause for Paws event. First a special needs for surgery and care for Brindie, the sweetest 2 year old girl, who needs surgery on her 2 back legs.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Secondly, our BIG Capital Campaign which will cover a new animal transport vehicle and the rest to our goal of getting our own property and shelter designed to meet our needs. This campaign's goal is to raise $500,000!

As a bonus, at Cause for Paws, we announced a special donation from Greg and MC Johnson, founding members of IMHS, who will match all Capital Campaign donations up to $50K! This means if we raise 50K, they'll match it and we'll have 100K of our $500,000 goal! There's still time to donate and have it matched--please send in or go online and donate by 10/18 and use the words Capital Campaign or new van or new shelter please.
